Ranendra Das began his journey learning tabla from his father at the age of 3, and has been traveling the path ever since. Ranendra has studied with many teachers including Ud. Zakir Hussain, Amit Chatterjee, Shouri Lahiiri, and Pt. Samir Chatterjee.
Ranendra earned his BM in Performance from the University of Bridgeport, where he studied Western Classical and Indian Classical music with Tabla as his major instrument. He earned his MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College.

Ranendra teaches and performs in Connecticut and the NYC Tri-State area, nationally, and internationally. He founded Para's Academy of Music and Arts in 2019.
